Cuenco's Rice and Noodle Bar Review

What I tried:

Pomelo Salad

Surprisingly refreshing with lots of texture from the black sesame seeds, crushed nuts, and crispy. On the third and successive bites, you'll taste how much salt was in there...way too much. Maybe they should back down on the seasoning since the dish already has the salt element from the anchovies. Szechuan Spicy Noodles

This dish is spice haven: Szechuan pepper, ginger, black pepper, garlic and onions, sort of explodes in your mouth along with a hint of sesame oil. The noodles were unimpressive and the saltiness of this dish makes you want to stop eating it but I love those spices so I shoved some more till I can't anymore. Soba and kani salad in miso dressing

Fresh cold noodles topped with cucumber and artificial crab meat perfect for the hot weather. But then again, it's too salty. Cuenco's has an interesting menu and I enjoyed all the dishes, honestly. They even have lemon water for refreshment. I'd love to come back once I lose the Dead Sea-taste of my tongue.

Cuenco's is located along Tulip Drive in front of Villa Abrille subdivision.
